                 Welcome to Greg Currier Photography

Presented here are a series of images representing landscape, seascape, and nature photography of Maine. In addition there are other images from my travels to the southwest and west coast, as well as Tuscany. The catalog also contains award-winning photographs of flowers, lobstering, boats/harbors, wildlife, lakes, lighthouses, and a series of panoramas.

You will find a variety of images offered as high quality digital prints in varying sizes and formats. These images are of reduced resolution for the web and contain the company name across the picture, but the real thing (without the name) is printed at 300 dpi for a 13x19 inch print. Navigate through the site by clicking on the words on the left of the screen. The offerings here are updated as my portfolio grows.

My first book, The Colors of Lobstering, was published by Down East Books in 2007. It is a 56 page photo essay of the colorful surroundings, the distinctive lobster boats, and the vivid hues of the ropes and buoys, experienced by the lobstermen. The second book by Down East Books, Reflections of Maine, will be out by the end of June 2008. It is the same size as the previous book and is a collection of photographs of reflections in a drop of water, lakes, ice, old windows, tide pools, etc. It shows Maine from a unique perspective.

The books are available at bookstores, From Down East Books (in Rockport, Maine), or as a signed copy from me directly.

Another book will also be published in June 2008 by Commonwealth Editions. This is entitled Camden At Its Best and is a collection of photographs of the unique, scenic seaside town of Camden, Maine. This will be available at bookstores or as a signed copy from me directly.
